Lamp, Carbide
One brass miners carbide lamp. It has a round disc shape at the front with a small milled wheel against which flint is struck to produce the spark that lights the lamp. The top has a fluted rim, and reads "Guy's Dropper" with patent dates May 26, 1914, and Sept. 19, 1916; underneath reads "Manuf'd by Shanklin Mfg. Co., Springfield, Ili."
