Lamp, Oil
One bulkhead oil lamp from the Bethlehem steamer, SS Lebanon. The lamp is made of polished brass and has a cylindrically-shaped oil reservoir with a fitted holder and mounting bracket, an adjustable wick, a clear glass chimney, and a circular dome-shaped exhaust hood with a mounting bracket. Brass screws are included for both mounting brackets. The adjusting knob on the wick is stamped with text that reads "E. Miller & Co., Made in U.S.A." The oil reservoir and wick assembly can be lifted out of the brass holder that is attached to the mounting bracket. Also, the wick assembly has a hinged top with a spring clip closure as well as a set screw for the glass chimney. Scratched text on the back side of the mounting flange reads "SS Lebanon, Blt. 1905."
