Lighter
One cigarette lighter from "The Roostertail" restaurant and supper club. The thin lighter has an elongated oval shape and is made of chrome-plated brass. It has a multicolor drawing one side that shows a front corner view of the restaurant building which was located at 100 Marquette Drive in Detroit. The other side has red, black, and blue text that reads "The Midwest's Most Beautiful Supper Club, The Roostertail, VA3-2000, Detroit. Home of the Gale Race Boats." The top has a spring-loaded lever to activate and extinguish the lighter flame. The bottom has two small screwplates for adding lighter fluid and replacing the flint. Stamped text on the bottom shows "American News Co., 131 Varick St., NYC" and Japan."
