1 - Commemorative medal worn by Spanish-American War veteran, Joseph Hoffman. The medal has a green and yellow vertically-striped ribbon at the top with a hanging circular brass medal. The medal shows a sheathed sword and tablet at the center with a laurel wreath along the perimeter. Obverse: raised text: "For Service In The Spanish War.", reverse: an image of an American Eagle, crossed swords, crossed cannons, and a laurel wreath at the perimeter.
