1 - Commemorative medal worn by United Spanish War Veteran (USWV), Joseph Hoffman. The upper portion of the medal has a silk ribbon with red and yellow vertical stripes with gold lettering: "Visitor 31st National Encampment U.S.W.V. Denver 1929", beneath the ribbon there is an arrowhead-shaped brass medal that has an embossed aerial view of Denver and features an image of the "U.S. Aeronautical Light." The back of the medal is blank and no manufacturer's name is shown.
