Mirror

One souvenir mirror from "The Maccabees" fraternal benefit association of Detroit. The pocket-size, circular mirror is made of glass that has a stamped steel back with rounded edges. The back has a semi-gloss paper covering which is printed with a green/white/red drawing that depicts a front corner view of the decorative 14-story headquarters building that was located at the southwest corner of Woodward Avenue and Putnam Street. Small red and green printed text across the top of the image reads "The Maccabees - America's Strongest Fraternal Benefit Ass'n." A small inset head and shoulders image of a baby is shown at the bottom along with green text that reads "Protect Him, $10,000 at Death." Additional small white printed along the bottom reads "$25,000,000 Assets, Headquarters Detroit; A Service Organization for the Entire Family." Small white printed text along the lower outer edge reads "Bastian Bros. Co., Rochester, N.Y."
