Model
One model of the sidewheel passenger steamship, CORONA, of Canada Steamship Lines. The base portion of the hull is made from several flat planks that have been glued together in order to form a solid piece of wood which has been carved slightly. Additional decks, fittings, and other details have been added to the base in order to form the complete model. The vessel has a white hull with light tan superstructure, white side railings, two tall masts, and two smokestacks. Details on the sides of the hull and cabin structure have been shown with thin adhesive tapes, paint, and colored marking pens. Several human figures are glued to the deck at various locations. Handpainted text on the bottom of the hull shows "The Shipmaster, B. M. Bigger, No. 40 - 1980."
