Mold, Butter

One butter mold made of fine-grained wood. The mold is cylindrical in shape with a rounded top, an open bottom, and decorative narrow raised bead edges at the top and bottom. The mold contains a movable wood rod with a small knob at the top and a circular plunger at the lower end (to expel the butter from the mold). The bottom surface of the plunger has a decorative impression design of two leaves. No manufacturer's name or marks are visible.
