One unopened box of Kodak glass plates. The box top is printed in red and black text that shows "Kodak Plates" and "Open Only in Photographic Darkroom - Safelight Data on Underside of Box." A yellow label with green text along the lower edge of the box shows "12 Plates, 5 x 7 in., Kodak 50 Plates. A medium-speed, orthochromatic antihalation plate giving moderate contrast and a long scale of graduation with normal development. The sensitivity characteristics give sufficient speed and pleasing color rendition for studio or home portraits requiring short exposures under artificial light."
