Opener, Letter

One letter opener from the store of "Herman and Ben Marks Furs" of Detroit. The faux ivory promotional souvenir opener is made of molded celluloid plastic. It has a 4-inch long double-edged blade with a sharp tip and a 3.75-inch long offset handle that has a rounded end. A black ink stamp on the handle has an engraved design and text that reads "Herman and Ben Marks Furs, Importers and Wholesale Mfrs., Detroit," and "Marks 'Just' Furs, Made in Detroit." Small black printed text at the base of the blade reads "The American Art Works, Coshocton, O [Ohio]." Black printed text on the back of the handle reads "Send That Fur Order to Marks, Detroit. You'll Save Money."
