Marie, with a figure and a dog near a canoe on shore at the lower left, and another canoe in the water in the distance. "Rapids at Sault Ste. Marie looking across to the Canada side, from the top of steam boat in the canal. Indians take you down these rapids of about a mile in canoes for 25¢" and "No. 6" are handwritten on the verso.
