Painting
One framed oil on canvas painting of the passenger steamships, SS GREATER BUFFALO and SS GREATER DETROIT, of the Detroit and Cleveland Navigation Company. The painting shows port side bow views of the two vessels which are running together in close proximity and appear to be racing each other. The painting is signed by the artist, "M.S. Geissler," in the lower right corner. It is held in a decorative wood frame that has been finished with black, dark green, and dark red paint.
