One framed oil painting on canvas, "Dossin Great Lakes Museum," by Frederick F. Mason, depicting river-facing side of the museum. along the shore of Belle Isle. The view looks east northeasterly from the Detroit River shoreline in the area of Coventry Gardens (Reaume Park) in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The Detroit River is shown in the lower foreground with the Dossin Great Lakes Museum visible on the Belle Isle, Detroit, shoreline in the background. Many trees can be seen on the island in the far background. An adhesive, gold-colored plastic label plate near the lower center edge of the painting has engraved black text that reads "Dossin Great Lakes Museum," and "freddy mason." The artist has signed his name and date, "Freddy, 202405 [Frederick F. Mason, 2024 May]," near the lower right corner of the painting. The canvas is mounted in a plain oak wood frame which has been finished with dark brown stain. A separate typewritten description and biographical sketch has been provided by the artist in an adhesive, flexible, black and clear plastic frame.
