Lake Freighter
One large oil painting entitled, "Lake Freighter," by Detroit-born artist, David Fredenthal. The multi-color painting features a small image of a bulk carrier steamship near the lower center edge which is nearly surrounded by a collage of maritime scenes. The scenes depict men at work on various tasks that would be typical in the life of a crewmember aboard a freighter.
