PELEE
One watercolor painting of the passenger steamship, PELEE. The painting shows a port side view of the ship which is underway in slightly choppy seas on Lake Erie. The ship has a black and white hull with a single red and black smokestack. A treed shoreline is visible in the background. The artist has signed his name, "Edward J. Dowling, 1960," in the lower right corner. The painting is held in a plain brown wood frame with a white matte border and protective glass.
