PHILO PARSONS
One watercolor painting of the steamship, PHILO PARSONS. The painting shows a port side view of the sidewheel steamship which is underway in fair weather. In the lower left corner, the artist (and donor) has signed his name, "Edward J. Dowling, 1953." The painting includes a white matte border and protective glass which are all held in a natural finish oak frame that has gold beading along the inside edge.
