Sparkman Deats Foster

One framed oil painting on canvas of maritime law attorney, Sparkman D. Foster. The painting shows a head and upper body image of the subject who is seated in a chair and is wearing a blue suit, white shirt, and striped tie. The artist, Joseph Maniscalco, has signed his name, "Maniscalco," in the lower right corner. The painting is mounted in a decorative dark brown wood frame that has an antique gold-colored finish along the inside and outside edges. A rectangular brass plate at the bottom of the frame has engraved text that reads "Sparkman Deats Foster, 1897-1967."
