One watercolor painting of the steamer, W.W. ATTERBURY. The painting shows a port quarter view of the ship which is underway in fair weather. The ship has a white hull with a green underbody below the waterline. The stack is orange with a black top and shows lots of smoke. The two tall spars are brown. Small whitecaps are visible on the water in the foreground with a blue/white sky in the background. The artist has signed his name, "Edward J. Dowling, 1933," in the lower right corner. The painting is held in a black wood frame with a white matte and protective glass.
