One insignia patch for the Boy Scouts of America, "Detroit Area Council, Michigan," The modified oval-shaped patch has white text and a narrow serged border of white thread. The center of the patch shows a multicolor embroidered image of the Detroit River, a steamship, the downtown Detroit skyline, and the emblem of the Boy Scouts of America. The back has a heat-activated adhesive coating.
