Pennant

One American League baseball pennant from Briggs Stadium (Tiger Stadium). The large triangular swallowtail pennant is made of heavyweight red/blue/white cotton fabric. The center field is dark blue with a red band sewn along the perimeter. White fabric letters, 16-inch high, are sewn across the blue field and read "American League." The hoist edge is reinforced with white canvas tape and includes a length of rope that is sewn inside the tape. Small loops are located at each end of the rope for attachment to a flagpole halyard.
