One advertisement picture of the passenger steamship, SS OCTORARA, of the Great Lakes Transit Corporation. It depicts a port side view of the ship which is underway in fair weather on one of the Great Lakes. Printed text reads "Finest in the World," and "Great Lakes Cruise, Buffalo - Detroit, Steel Steamers Tionesta - Juniata - Octorara." The picture consists of a color drawing of the steamship which has been printed on a thin sheet of steel. The perimeter includes a printed image of a brown wood frame that has a gold-colored inner edge. The frame is bent downward slightly which gives a subtle 3-dimensional look to the overall picture. The picture has a cardboard back with a short cord for hanging on a wall hook.
