Political pin in support of the 1982 Democratic gubernatorial ticket of Jim Blanchard and Martha Griffiths. The pin is circular with white lettering reading "Blanchard, Griffiths, 1982," against a blue background. The arm of the 'r' and the counter with the adjacent 'd' at the end of "Blanchard" are in the respective shapes of Michigan's Upper Peninsula and Lower Peninsula. The rear of the button has a metal safety-pin clasp.
