Pin, Lapel

One "YAA" (Yachtsmen's Association of America) lapel pin. The brass pin is stamped in the shape of a yacht or boat club burgee which shows the white letters, "YAA," against a blue background with a red cross. The back of the pin has a short screw post with a threaded round disc for attachment to a lapel. The pin is attached to a small paper card which has green text that reads "Green Duck Company, Chicago" and "World's Foremost Manufacturers of Badges, Advertising Buttons, Metal Advertising Novelties, Emblems."
The Y.A.A. was an organization during the early twentieth century that served as the sanctioning body for world speed records achieved on water.
