Pitcher, Cream
One small cream pitcher from the dining room of the SS ALEXANDRIA of the Ontario & Quebec Navigation Company. The pitcher is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has an open top with a small spout, a round top edge, and a plain curved handle on the side that has a narrow brown stripe on the outside edge. It has straight sides that flare outward slightly to form a wider base with a decorative rounded edge. A narrow brown stripe encircles the pitcher at the top rim and a red/brown image of the company flag is stamped on the front. The underside is stamped with black text that reads "Vitrified Acme China, Wood & Sons, England" and "Gowans Kent & Co., Toronto."
