Pitcher, Milk
One white ceramic pitcher from the Detroit 250th Anniversary celebration in 1951. The pitcher has a wide, rounded middle section with a narrower base and top. The open top has a spout and a plain rim with a rounded edge. A curved handle is located on the side opposite the spout. A black pen and ink drawing is shown on the front of the pitcher that depicts the landing of Cadillac and the founding of Detroit on July 24, 1701. The opposite side shows a simple outline map of Michigan and the Great Lakes. Black text stamped on the bottom of the pitcher reads "Introduced by Charles W. Warren & Co., Detroit, Michigan" and "Copeland, Spode, England."
