Gold-colored embellishments are also shown at the base of the handle, and a narrow gold-colored stripe encircles the base. Old English style gold-colored text on both sides reads "Propeller Mary Ward." The underside has an adhesive label with red text that reads "Hurd, Leigh & Co., Toronto, Decorators."
