Plaque

One commemorative plaque. The plaque is made of molded black plastic that has been finished in a deep bronze color. The decorative top section has text that shows "Employees of City of Detroit, Dept. of Parks & Recreation in the Armed Forces." Below this section, there are a total of 59 names that have been glued on black plastic strips and are arranged in three columns. The strips have a bronze color finish and are attached to the top section and to each other by nuts and bolts along with short metal tabs that are located on the back. Embossed text on the backs of the name strips shows "Plastic Stamping Co., Detroit." The names are not arranged in any particular order.
