Plate, Bread
One bread plate from the dining room of the SS MILWAUKEE CLIPPER of The Clipper Line (Michigan & Wisconsin Steamship Company) fleet. The round plate is made of heavyweight, light tan glazed china. It has a flat, upturned rim with a rounded outer edge and a narrow, red stripe along the midpoint. At a break in the stripe, the square red/tan/blue logo of "The Clipper Line" is shown. The underside is stamped with black text that reads "Toltec, Walker China, Vitrified," and "Bedford, Ohio, 6-34."
