One commemorative plate. The glazed white china plate has a dark blue drawing at the center that shows a starboard side view of one of the passenger steamships of the Chicago, Duluth & Georgian Bay Transit Company. Small drawings along the rim show various scenes that can be found along the Great Lakes. Text along the lower edge reads "S.S. North American, S.S. South American," and "The Georgian Bay Line." Printed text on the underside of the plate gives details about the two ships. A manufacturer's mark shows "Kettlesprings Kilns, R. D. 1, Alliance, Ohio," and "L61."
