China advertising plate distributed by the Voigt Brewery Company. The face of the play is decorated with images of two early airplanes flying over a coastal village, encircled by 12 fields containing calendars for each month of 1912. The side of the most prominent plane features the year 1912. Gold lettering beneath the scene reads, "Compliments of E. W. Voigt, President. Voigt Brewery Co., Sole Brewers & Bottlers of Rheingold & Nurishin Malt, Detroit." The edge of the plate is decorated with a gold border. A faint crown-shaped mark is stamped on the underside of the plate. The plate features several cracks which have been repaired.
