Plate, Dessert

One dessert plate from the dining room of the passenger steamship, SS KEEWATIN, of the Canadian Pacific Railroad Great Lakes fleet. The round plate is made of heavyweight white glazed china. It has a flat, slightly-upturned rim and a thickened outer edge. A wide green band encircles the rim along the midpoint. At a break in the band, decorative green script text shows the letters, "CPR [Canadian Pacific Railroad]." Stamped black text on the underside of the plate reads "Duraline, Super Vitrified, Grindley Hotelware Co., England," and "Cassidy's, Ltd., Montreal, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto, 3-50."
