Plate, Dinner

One dinner plate from the dining room of the tugboat, Laurence G. Turner, of the Great Lakes Towing Company. The round plate is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has a flat, slightly-upturned rim and a thickened outer edge. A narrow red stripe encircles the plate along the inner edge of the rim. A large green letter, "G," is stamped on one area of the rim above the stripe. The underside is stamped with green text that reads "Walker China, Vitrified," and "Bedford, Ohio, 4-31."
