Plate, Dinner

One dinner plate from a passenger steamship dining room of the Northern Steamship Company. The round plate is made of heavyweight white glazed china. It has a flat, upturned rim and a rounded outer edge. A narrow red stripe encircles the rim near the outer edge and a narrow green stripe encircles the rim at the midpoint. Five multicolor floral designs are evenly-spaced along the rim and are incorporated into the stripes. Also, a decorative multicolor script "NSC" monogram is stamped on one area of the rim. Stamped green text on the underside of the plate reads "Lamberton China," and "Boutell Bros., Minn."
