Plate, Dinner
One dinner plate from the passenger ferry, Bluebell, of the Toronto Ferry Company, Ltd. The plate is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has a flat, upturned rim with a thickened edge. A decorative band consisting of a green floral pattern is printed along the outer edge of the rim. Just beneath the rim, an oval-shaped drawing of the ferry, Bluebell, is printed in green with text that reads "The Toronto Ferry Co., Limited." The underside is stamped with green text that reads "Alberta Vitrified Acme China" as well as "Wood & Sons, England," and "Gowans, Kent & Co., Toronto."
