Plate, Engraving
One engraving plate used for printing Vernor's advertisements, brochures, and/or product packaging. The rectangular plate is made from a thin sheet of zinc that has been mounted on a wood block with thirteen small nails. The plate has been cut and etched with a flat relief engraving and a halftone image that shows a bottle of Vernor's Ginger Ale. The label area of the bottle has been cut out which would allow different label designs to be added separately.
