Plate, Engraving

One engraving plate used for printing Vernor's advertisements, brochures, and/or product packaging. The rectangular plate is made from thin sheets of copper and zinc that have been bonded together. Small nails have been used to attach the plate to a wood block. The copper side has a flat relief engraving that shows a bottle of "Vernor's Ginger Ale." The numbers, "45, 31, 32," have been stamped in small text in deep-cut areas along the outer edges where most of the copper has been cut away.
