One engraving plate used for printing Vernor's advertisements, brochures, and/or product packaging. The rectangular plate is made from thin sheets of copper and zinc that have been bonded together. The copper side has a flat relief engraving that shows "Vernor's" in script text along with "Ginger Ale" in smaller block text. Some of the zinc has been exposed in deep-cut areas where all of the copper has been cut away. In one of the deep-cut areas, a small eagle emblem is stamped along with the letters "I.S.& E.U. [International Stereotypers and Electrotypers Union]," and small numbers that read "54 4."
