Plate, Engraving
One engraving plate used for printing Vernor's advertisements, brochures, and/or product packaging. The irregularly-cut plate is made from thin sheets of copper and zinc that have been bonded together. Four small nails have been used to attach the plate to a wood block. The copper side has a flat relief engraving that depicts an image of the Vernor's gnome, who is standing and pointing with his outstretched left arm. The numbers, "45/164/5," are stamped near the edge of the image.
