One engraving plate used for printing Vernor's advertisements, brochures, and/or product packaging. The rectangular plate is made from a thin sheet of zinc that has been mounted on a wood block with eight small nails. The plate has a flat relief engraving that depicts an image of the Vernor's gnome who is holding a glass of ginger ale in each hand. Large thermometers can be seen behind each of his arms with one thermometer showing a high mercury level and the other one showing a low level. The image implies that Vernor's ginger ale is good either warm or cold.
