One commemorative license plate given to major benefactors of the Detroit Thanksgiving Day Parade (America's Thanksgiving Parade). The rectangular license plate is cut from a sheet of chrome-plated bronze alloy metal. The front has been highly-polished to create a mirror-like finish. Red engraved text reads "Big Wig, America's Thanksgiving Parade, November, 1999." A narrow red border line is engraved along the perimeter of the plate about one-quarter inch inside the outer edge. One horizontal oval-shaped hole is cut near each of the four corners. The back of the plate has a brushed finish and is stamped with the manufacturer's logo and name, "Dirilyte."
