Plate, Lunch

One lunch plate from a dining room of one of the steamships of the Shenango Furnace Company. The round plate is made of white glazed china. It has a flat, upturned rim with a rounded outer edge. Two narrow green stripes encircle the top surface of the outer edge of the rim, and a single narrow green stripe encircles the inner edge. A small red/white/blue image of the company flag is stamped on one area of the rim between outer and inner stripes. The underside is stamped with dark green text that reads "O.P. Co. [Onondaga Pottery Company], Syracuse China" and "E-2."
