Plate, Luncheon
One luncheon plate from the dining room of the passenger steamship, SS Alabama, of the Goodrich Steamship Lines. The round plate is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has a flat, slightly-upturned rim with a thickened outer edge. One wide and two narrow green stripes encircle the rim along the midpoint. At a break in the stripes, a green square is stamped with green text inside that reads "Goodrich Steamship Lines." The underside is stamped with a small crown logo and green text that reads "Grindley Hotel Ware, Made in England."
