Plate, Printing
One halftone copper printing plate used for printing Vernor's advertisements, brochures, and/or product packaging. The rectangular plate is made from thin sheets of copper and zinc that have been bonded together. Small nails have been used to attach the plate to a wood block. The copper side has been etched with a halftone image which shows the front of Vernor's original store at 235 Woodward Avenue in Detroit.
