Platter

One small platter from a passenger steamship dining room of the Clover Leaf Steamboat Line. The oval-shaped platter is made of off-white glazed china. It has a flat, upturned rim with a thickened outer edge. A narrow green band with a small floral pattern encircles the platter near the outer edge of the rim. Decorative floral/leaf designs and small pink rose clusters are evenly-spaced along the rim just beneath the green band. An image of the company burgee is stamped at the center of one of the long sides of the platter. The underside is stamped with black text that reads "Fraunfelter China, Ohio," and "Furnished by Matthews & Kerr, Inc., Spokane, Wash."
