Platter
One platter from the dining room of the bulk carrier, SS GEORGE B. LEONARD, of the Great Lakes Steamship Company. The oval-shaped platter is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has a flat, upturned rim with a thickened outer edge. Narrow red and blue stripes encircle the platter along the midpoint of the rim. At a break in the stripes at the center of one of the long sides, a blue "GL" logo is stamped. The underside is stamped with black text that reads "Walker China, Vitrified," and "Bedford, Ohio, F-53."
