One framed poster advertising the 10th anniversary of the Montreux-Detroit International Jazz Festival which took place in Detroit on August 31 - September 4, 1989. The poster is printed with black and gray text on white paper and includes a silhouette-like image of the head and torso of a young woman who is playing a double bass. The bass strings are depicted by narrow, multi-color bands that resemble a rainbow. Multi-color images of Swiss and American flags are shown near the upper right corner of the poster. The poster is held in a narrow, silver-colored metal frame with a protective glass cover. A "Metro Times" newspaper article about the festival is held in an envelope that is taped to the back of the poster.
