One framed print of downtown Detroit buildings by Edward H. Suydam. The charcoal and pencil drawing depicts a view of the Campus Martius area with the Soldiers and Sailors Monument (left) and the Old City Hall (right) in the right foreground. Notable buildings such as st the Guardian Building and Penobscot Building are visible in the background. The artist has signed his name, "E. H. Suydam," near the lower right corner. The print is mounted in a decorative walnut or cherry wood frame with a protective glass cover. The wood frame has a gold-colored inner edge with multi-layered molding that has been stained dark brown and finished with clear semi-gloss lacquer or varnish.
