One framed photograph of the "Commodore J. R. Wilde Memorial Trophy" at the Edison Boat Club in Detroit. The blue-toned photo shows a halftone image of the trophy with its black marble base, inscription plates along the sides, and a metal sculpture of a catboat on top. Black printed text beneath the photo gives information about the trophy which was first offered for sailing competition in the 1931 regatta. The photo is held in a wood frame with a white matte border and protective glass. The wood frame has been finished with brown stain and black paint.
