Print, Photographic
One framed photograph of a group of sailboats at Edison Boat Club. The sepia-toned photo looks across the decks of approximately a dozen small sailboats of different classes that are rafted together in the Edison Boat Club harbor. It appears that a race has recently concluded and sails can be seen on the decks and booms of several boats, but have already been stowed away on others. Two sailors are at work on two of the boats. Lettering on the transom of a catboat in the center foreground reads "DYC [Detroit Yacht Club] 2." The photo is held in an oak wood frame with blue/gray matte borders, and protective glass. An engraved brass nameplate beneath the photo reads "E. B. C. Regatta, 1940's." The oak wood frame has been finished with a dark brown stain. A gold-colored adhesive label on the back has black text that reads "Grant's Fine Picture Frames, 810-791-4982."
