Broadcast radio tuner Grebe Type CR-3. Serial number 157. Case is dark wood with lid hinged at rear. Front panel is made of slate. The unit is used in association with another box, which has the tubes, and the front plate controls, the front panel controls are grid variometer, coupler, and plate variometer, and there's a device for changing the wavelength range, or adjusting the wave length range, in association with the antenna. The radio tuner contains three semi-spherical tuning coils controlled by large dials on the slate. There are two dials for antenna inductance rheostats and six wire terminals.
